Representing purchasing projects on quality, costs and deadlines as well as in change management
Carry out tenders, inquiries and evaluations of offers independently
Implement contract management and accompany negotiations
Perform project reporting on purchasing topics in the product development process
Document supplier management and risk assessments
Identify and qualify new technologies
Responsible for target costing and the total cost of ownership approach
Identify and implement savings potential and cost reduction programs
Demand and tender planning for the respective project in close coordination with project management
Identification and qualification of new and existing suppliers
Execution of orders
Cost analysis and plausibility check of offers
Communication and negotiation with potential suppliers and external companies

Relevant experience in strategic direct purchasing, preferably in the automotive/automotive suppliers industry
Fluent English (in speaking and writing); German will be considered as a significant plus
Completed education in mechanical engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, logistics or a similar degree
High negotiation skills
Ability to travel to Germany (around 20% of time)
